Karla, a fifth generation Californian, moved to The Greatest Little City of Reno, Nevada in 1965. Wow, that’s forty years ago! Anyway, she has witnessed a positive, steady growth of the Reno/ Sparks area, Attended B.D. Billinghusrt Middle School, Graduated from Earl Wooster High School, Graduated from the University of Nevada with a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education. She taught 15 years and trained 8 student teachers in the Washoe County School District. She created and directed His Little School Foundation a non-profit preschool, state licensed Elementary and Middle School for students with a variety of disabilities.

Karlie enjoys cooking, gardening, travel, music, and previewing and redecorating homes. This last hobby has turned into a profession. Being a licensed Realtor allows her to do what she does best weather it’s finding the right home for the first time buyer or fitting that perfect home for the most discriminating individual.
