Ken and Alicia Lund
Ken Lund combines an unparalleled knowledge of Reno-Sparks real estate; an elite understanding of real estate law (Ken has a background as a successful attorney); a body of experience that includes approximately 45 to 50 closed transactions per year; a well-developed network of Reno-Sparks professionals; and a reputation for hard work and integrity to offer his clients the very best in professional service.
Real estate sales and purchases are frequently the largest transactions people undertake during their lifetime. With so much on the line, select the real estate professional best equipped to help you find you the home of your dreams, identify the soundest investments, achieve the best terms and purchase price; avoid hidden pitfalls; and navigate the complex laws, contracts, and disclosures that are part of any real estate transaction.
Ken Lund understands real estate contracts, laws, and disclosures better than most. He is one of the few real estate licensees in the Reno-Sparks area that is also a licensed attorney. Though Ken dedicates all of his time to real estate sales and purchases and does not currently practice law, his background in law is invaluable to his clients. Ken actively assists the Reno/Sparks Association of Realtors in writing and revising the contracts and disclosures Realtors in the Reno-Sparks area use in every transaction.
Prior to joining Ferrari-Lund Real Estate, Ken enjoyed a successful career as a partner at one of Nevada's oldest and most respected law firms. Ken was one of the youngest attorneys in his firm's long history to be awarded an AV Preeminent Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating given, indicating the highest ethical standards and the highest level of professional excellence. He was also one of the youngest attorneys at his firm to be elected a shareholder. Ken's cases frequently involved real estate issues. Ken was entrusted by his clients not only to litigate cases in trial court, but also to argue cases in front of the prestigious Nevada Supreme Court and United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ken developed a reputation for meticulous preparation, a tireless work ethic, creativity, outstanding oral and written advocacy, and scrupulous honesty. He offers those same skills and attributes to his real estate clients.
Ken is an experienced real estate professional. He has successfully closed approximately 45 to 50 transactions per year. He has successfully sold homes ranging from modest manufactured homes to luxury homes worth more than $2 Million. Regardless of whether the home is a small starter home or an elite luxury property, Ken has the resources and skills to successfully help you buy or sell the home.
Moreover, Ken is no stranger to high stakes negotiation. Ken has participated in countless negotiations, both in real estate and in litigation, often with seven or eight figures on the line, and has obtained good results for his clients. Ken's real estate clients can count on him to keep confidences, understand the intricacies of negotiation, and work zealously and fairly on their behalf, and to handle their transaction with the highest degree of competence and care.
As a fourth-generation Nevadan and proud native of the Reno/Sparks area, Ken knows every corner of Reno-Sparks. He has driven on every street in Reno-Sparks and has the map to prove it. When you talk to Ken, you will quickly appreciate the depth and breadth of his knowledge of Reno-Sparks neighborhoods, the construction history of each neighborhood, and insights only a long-time Reno resident obsessed with Reno-Sparks real estate can have. He can be especially helpful for those relocating to Reno-Sparks from elsewhere.
Ken has lived in both Reno and Sparks and loves both cities. He graduated from Galena High School in 1996 and has lived in Reno-Sparks for more than 20 years. Ken, his wife Alicia, and their three children know that Reno-Sparks is an outstanding place to build a business, raise a family, and enjoy a good life. They appreciate the abundant recreation and scenery the area has to offer.
Most importantly, when you work with Ken, you get two great professionals for the price of one! Ken is teamed up with his wife Alicia, also a licensed Nevada broker-salesperson at Ferrari-Lund. When you list your home with Ken and Alicia, you will not only get a very competitive commission structure, but a proven-effective marketing strategy.
